This is the nominations where you get the chance to nominate player for the different categories. This will later be followed up by a voting based on this nominations.
Categories:Player of the year - This category speaks for itself, the finest of all categories.
Friendliest/Nicest player - The name speak for itself.
Funniest player - To play against, not the one with the funniest stories.
Best offensive - A player with a great offensive style, fast sideswitches, shifting speed and high speed in the ball
Best defence - A player with great defense, this player will rarely miss, even if he plays fast and attacks.
Rookie of the year - A player that has taken the TT-world by storm, done well in the league and given the best players tough games in ranking games. Of course this player is nice and a role model when it comes to "fair play". Who counts as a rookie? Everybody who's not on the 2005 leagueranking, so check the forum if you are unsure.
Fastest player - Some players play extremely fast, they wont give you a second until the ball comes back, and just when you thought it cant go faster, he/she puts another gear in to speed up the game even more!
Best smash - Suddenly it goes BANG! And your opponent has taken a point by his great smash.
Best spin - Some players can make incredible spin balls, and win many points from their spins.
Best serve - A player that can make difficult serves. Besides that, he varies between different serves and different sides. You never know where the serve is coming.
Biggest comeback - A player who has been away from the TT-game for a long time comes back to the game and makes a great comeback.
Breakthrough of the year - A player who has been around for a while, maybe even been at the top 3 in some category in earlier awards. But this year he has taken the next step and become one of the best.Player with most net lag - The first of the negative categories, a player that you don't want to meet because of the bad connection.
Chicken of the year - A player that is top 20 and refuses to play against players that he/she knows can beat him in point games. Loves to play beginners.
Slowest player - This player is a true coward, a player that only let the ball bounce back. Playing really slow, no intention of winning the game by being the best player, only to win it by being the one with most patience.
Rudest player - A player you don't want to have anything to do with.
Biggest pointchaser - Well you all know what this is.

Unserious votes will be ignored! Example on unserious votes:
Example 1: You vote on an extremely rude player like Belkin in the nicest player category.
Example 2: You vote on someone that does not fulfil the criteria for the category, for example vote on someone in
player of the year that hasn't reach higher then div2 in the league, never taken more then 5 points to the
top guys, and who is extremely rude.
You make your nominations to the right, to be able to nominate you have to fill in your shockplay username and a password that I'll send to you at Shockplay. If you forget your password, send BigTymer a msg at Shockplay. You shall nominate 2 players in each category. Write the 2 names in the same window with a (,) between. To make it a little easier we made a bigger gap to show where the positive categories end and the negative categories start.
You only have the right to nominate if you have spent at least 4 weeks in elite during 2005. People who haven't been in elite but thought they deserved to vote anyway hade the chance to get that privilege in December at the forum.
When you nominates/votes you have to think about everything from a wide perspective, for example:
Even if one player always accepts your challenges that's no reason for not voting for him/her in the category "Chicken Of The Year" if
you know that he/she wont accept ranking games with other players who can beat him/her.
